Bridge USA, formerly known as Work & Travel is our exciting 3 to 4 month summer program. Register to embark on an awesome and fulfilling cultural experience during your summer vacation!
About the Program
The program offers two options. Applicants can find their own placement and accommodation (Self-Placement) or they can select the option of our sponsors finding them a placement at a price included in the program fee (Placement Assist).
The program allows participants to work and travel for a period of up to four months (4) during the summer holidays commencing mid May through to September 7th of each program year.
Documents & Digital Requirements:

1 Passport Size Photo
This must be no more than 6 months old and should NOT be certified.
2.
Passport
Original passport and expired passport if it contains US visa(s).
3.
Passport Photocopies
Photocopy of sections of your passport which have the validity, your name, date of birth, date and issue of any visa. (Passport should have a 6 month validity after work start date and will not be accepted if less than 6 months).
4.
Skype
Valid Skype ID. (Mandatory for interviews with sponsors and potential employers).
5.
Resume
A one-page resume is required for all applicants.
6.
Vaccination Card
An up to date Vaccination Card is required.
7.
I.D. Card
Original and photocopy of school identification card.
8.
Job-Offer Form
Job Offer Form (Self-Arranged applicants only).
9.
Transcript
A Transcript is required for the Embassy interview. (You MUST take that with you). Please apply for this from January so that you will have it in time to take with you to the Embassy.
10.
Status Letter
School status letter indicating year of studies, full time status and course of study.
Documents to be submitted by mid-January of each program year (student will be advised of the date for documents submission)
Pre-Departure Orientation
All participants will be required to attend a pre departure Orientation which is done virtually. This is most important as there is crucial information that you will need to know in how to navigate your time in the United States.
Please note that this is mandatory and will be provided to you via email from your Sponsor.
